Inverness breakfast workshop - how to win tenders using waste management

Fife College, in association with ourselves would like to invite you to attend one of our free breakfast workshops offering advice on winning tenders in the construction industry.

Are you a construction industry SME?

Are you a supplier to the construction sector?

Do you wonder what to write when tenders ask for ‘added value’ or ‘sustainability’?

Do you think that to get high marks you need to give clients things for free or invest in complex environmental procedures?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, our FREE breakfast workshop will be an extremely useful session and a valuable investment of your time.

Event time

07.30am – 09.30am

A free breakfast will be provided.

There is an opportunity to network between 09.00 am and 09.30am

Speakers

We are delighted to have secured Anne Farr, Managing Director, Rothera Group as a speaker for the event. Her pragmatic approach to tendering has helped Scottish companies win many millions of pounds of work. At this workshop she will share industry best practice with you and give you an insight into tender evaluators’ requirements. She will also describe how to use waste management to gain competitive advantage in your tenders and will also give you her top tips for winning construction tenders, frameworks and subcontract packages.

Presenting alongside Anne will be Dr Richard Irvine, who will introduce participants to the Zero Waste Scotland – Resource Efficient Scotland Programme. We offer free advice, guidance and financial support for Construction Industry small and medium sized enterprises across Scotland.

Richard will highlight the cost and business development benefits that can be achieved through engaging with the Programme.
