De minimis aid

As part of an internal review, a recent state aid assessment has been carried out on the Resource Efficient Scotland programme.

The outcome of this assessment concluded that the support we deliver is unlikely to meet all four of the state aid tests.

As such, Zero Waste Scotland does not believe the support provided by the Resource Efficient Scotland programme is state aid and therefore does not contribute towards your allowable allocation of de minimis aid.

Should you have any additional queries, visit the Scottish Government website who provide further information and FAQs on de minimis funding. Alternatively, please email the State Aid Unit who will be able to provide further advice and assistance.
