We work directly with organisations on a day to day basis, providing advice and support to businesses, the public sector, local authorities and community groups.
We also work in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholder organisations such as industry associations and trade bodies in order to assist in the communication and delivery of resource efficiency opportunities for their respective member organisations and supply chains.
As a programme of Zero Waste Scotland, we work closely with our main funders, The Scottish Government; and we’ve built strong relationships with other Scottish Government agencies including the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA), Scottish Enterprise, Highlands & Islands Enterprise, Scottish Futures Trust, Skills Development Scotland and other strategic partner organisations, and each is these is crucial to successful delivery of our work. For example, our work as members of the Heat Network Partnership in Scotland, working with other Scottish agencies is focused on the promotion and support of District Heating schemes working towards a decarbonised heat sector in Scotland by 2050.
As members of the Scottish Business Sustainability Partnership we work with the key business delivery bodies for Scotland: Business Gateway, Energy Saving Trust, Highlands & Islands Enterprise, Scottish Enterprise Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service, and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA). Our aim is to build a partnership at the national and local level to facilitate greater collaboration between organisations and to co-ordinate a range of business advice programmes. We offer a process to deliver comprehensive information, advice and support to improve resource and energy efficiencies and deliver cost savings for Scottish businesses to help them reduce energy, resource use and waste to save money, be more competitive and improve reputation.
Building existing and new relationships is really important to us and the work we do, so if you’d like to work with us in future, please do get in touch.
